On Thursday the 23rd of September another successful zoom fashion show was held. We were delighted to welcome some familiar and new faces from our community, and we hope you all had as much fun as we did on the night!
If you follow our socials, then you’re no stranger to the fabulous Ailbhe who Mc’d for the night, supported by the equally fabulous Laura. They walked you through the Choice boutique Autumn Winter 21 collections - which we are proud to say include some stunning pieces designed by our very own in-house design team.
Fear not if you were unable to join us because we’re going to give you the lowdown right here on all the fashion fun of the evening!
Autumn/Winter 21 Trends
Before we start looking into the themes and looks that were showcased, we of course want to share with you our fashion insights into the seasons.
Colours
This season it’s all about the gorgeous warm shades of oatmeal, taupe and coffee. As well as some newer colours like mink brown and steel grey. Then as we get closer to the Winter season, you’re going to start seeing a lot of rich reds, which really bring that warm Christmassy feeling we all know and love!
Fabrics
The biggest trend in this area is going to be embracing the mixed fabrics look. So, don’t be afraid to have fun with it and try new things!
Another hot topic in this area is the shift to more sustainable fabrics. Here at Choice Boutique, we are delighted to be introducing some more sustainable fabrics into our designs - such as recycled materials, cottons and bamboo.
Checks
In terms of patterns to look out for this season it’s all about checks! Checks and particularly heritage checks are making a big comeback as well as herringbone, Prince of Wales and abstract checks.
Autumn/Winter 21 Choice Boutique Themes
The themes of the night were: Casual, Classic and Contemporary.
So, let’s take a deeper dive into each theme and the looks we’ve been working hard on bringing to you for this Autumn, Winter season.
Theme One: Casual
With Covid and the lockdowns we’re all wearing a lot more casual and comfortable clothing. Though we’re asking for more comfort from our fashion, we still want to look smart and stylish while working from home or popping out for a coffee with friends.
So, the Autumn/Winter 21 Casual range at Choice Boutique is here to deliver on just that. These items are smarter than your usual lounge wear, with more tailoring and sophistication – while still delivering on that all day comfort!

- This range is all about luxury lounge wear to look polished but feel comfortable.

Theme Two: Classic
So, what exactly is Classic fashion? It is a design style in and of itself. And it’s all about smart tailoring, using quality fabrics and versatility. Essentially, classic pieces are what make up the staples in your wardrobe.
Think black tailored trousers, dress coats or a crisp white shirt as these are the foundation of any classic collection.
So, let’s take a look at the Classic looks of the night.
Classic Look 1 – Peruzzi Statement Trousers
- Gold zip, statement trousers in black.
- Skinny fit but really comfortable because they have lots of elastane in the fabric so plenty of stretch.
- Styled with lovely oat-coloured knitwear (one of the big colour trends this season) with side button detail and abstract print on the front
